Facebook have yet to comment on a 30 minute or so down period. It happened at 20.30 BST tonight. Many Facebook users are reporting that the social network went down.
The total outage affected both Facebook’s website and mobile apps.
The Social Media Giant posted a “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can,” message on their desktop and mobile sites.
It looks like the Outage affected the whole of Europe as well as North America.
A response is awaited from Zuckerberg Towers shortly.
